Yoga can transform the quality of your pregnancy, birth and transition to motherhood. Prenatal yoga is kind and gentle to your body and serves as an effective method of preparation for labor and birth.
Giving birth is a physical feat, one we should train and prepare for if we’re looking to have a better birthing experience. It is also a time where we may feel emotional unrest as we face new challenges and changes.
In Prep for Birth with Prenatal Yoga, we will prepare our bodies and mind for birth. Think of this program as a supplement to your prenatal yoga practice or a traditional childbirth education course. We will go over different comfort measures and coping strategies you can use during labor. You will get to practice these techniques on your yoga mat, allowing yourself to feel comfortable and confident in the tools to get you through childbirth.
